Carmen and Kevin Fischer

I can’t believe they are going to frame Kevin Fisher for Carmen’s death.  The show somehow seems to be full of murder mysteries lately and very little romance (except for Amber and Kane!). I wonder if the Young and Restless will bring Jenna back and exonerate Kevin. I don’t think Colleen will die but I bet she’ll be brain injured or have a memory problem for a while! Is it just me or will the Fishers not ever get a break?

Young and Restless – Who Killed Carmen?

Hey I see on cover at supermarket they will reveal Carmen’s killer this week! I wonder who. They are really playing up it’s Adrian. Also I wonder if Sheila REALLY is dead and what is going on with Jenna’s disappearance. I still think this soap “Young and Restless” is done so masterfully, keeping up with the times in terms of expressions, jokes, fashions etc. Even references to Sex and the City is funny. I wonder what happened to Sylvia Browne? She hasn’t been on young and the restless lately. But you can get a free reading online here  .

It seems that a lot of the tv psychic shows have been taken off the air. Does anyone know why? What is interesting is that recently the Young and the Restless has had Sylvia Browne on and she is helping Catherine learn more about those baby flashbacks she was having. She gave her some clues which Amber ended up investigating . But what happened to those 1/2 an hour tv shows with psychics they used to have during the day?

Young and the Restless Update

Well in today’s show was an interesting dialogue between Jenna and Adrianne. She seems to think that Adrianne may be the murderer though I think Kevin thinks that she is..

It seems like lately on the show there haven’t been a lot of “happy” romantic types of moments. Everyone seems in crisis in one way or the other (yet still pretty realistic).

The other thing that struck me today was that I realized I like Gloria. Her flamoyant character is not as painful as it had been and she still seems like trailer trash in certain ways but is deep too (that’s what I like about the young and the restless).

Does anyone remember Larry? I liked him but he was written off a while ago. I find the Jill/Catherine thing boring but maybe it’s aimed for every woman’s fear -kidnapping her baby.

CBS Young and the Restless – Ashley Abbot Leaving

Okay I admit it. I am hooked on the Young and the Restless. But surprisingly so are a lot of college graduates! I do think it is a very interesting soap because the writers cover both romance as well as career questions, death and genuine topics. Sure there are kidnappings and the usual, but there is a realism that is there too.

I have to say though that since they killed off John Abbot, I am surprised that Ashley Abbot is leaving Young and Restless (or so it looks).

Also I feel a bit gripped by this Carmen Mesta murder mystery. I had thought Jenna did it and was a serial murderer but now I’m not sure. What does cbs young and the restless have in store for us?

If Ashley Abbot leaving young and restless is going to happen then will John live alone in that big house?

I do think there may be some complex theme developing around Sheila, Paul and Michael. I like Michael for some reason. He seems very complex . Actually I think that’s what I like about the cbs young and restless. The characters have an inner life to them of concerns and don’t seem shallow (well some do like Amber!).
